Selection Criteria
A. Primary Qualifications
1. A registered mining engineer with a current professional license;
2. Professional competence of the highest degree;
3. Professional practice with integrity;
4. Meaningful participation in professional activities of the PSEM;
5. Significant contribution to the advancement of mining engineering;
6. Effective discharge of the social responsibility of mining engineering.
B. Additional Qualifications
1. A Filipino citizen;
2. A member of the PSEM in good standing;
3. Must not be an officer and/or director of the PSEM;
4. Must not be an incumbent member of the PRC Regulatory Board nor an official or employee of the PRC;
5. Must not be a past awardee of the PRC, except in another profession.
